Care homes
Residential care operates continuously, with high hot water demand and material generated around the clock.
How HERU fits
Continuous occupancy means both the material stream and the hot water demand are steady rather than seasonal.
HERU is installed as building infrastructure, alongside existing plant. Authorised materials generated on the premises are retained and used to recover useful heat for hot water and space heating, rather than being collected and taken away.
