This website collects personal information in one place only: the enquiry form. This notice explains what we collect there, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Who we are
This website is operated by Mission HERU Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 07640601, registered office Avon View Offices, 90 High Street, Bidford-on-Avon, B50 4AF.
Mission HERU Ltd is the data controller for personal information submitted through this site. For anything in this notice, contact info@myheru.com.
What we collect, and when
We collect personal information only when you choose to send us an enquiry.
We do not collect information about you for analytics, advertising or profiling simply because you read the site. Our hosting provider records limited technical information required to operate and secure the website, as explained below.
When you use the enquiry form we receive:
- Your name
- Your email address
- The country you are enquiring from
- The type of enquiry you have selected
- Whatever you write in the message
- Your organisation, if you choose to give it
- How you heard about HERU, if you choose to tell us
Our hosting provider also records standard technical information about requests to the site, such as IP address and browser type, in its server logs. This is used to run and secure the service, not to identify or profile you.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use what you send us to read, consider and reply to your enquiry, and to keep a record of business enquiries we have received.
Our lawful basis for using your information to respond to and manage your enquiry is our legitimate interests in communicating with people who contact HERU and maintaining an appropriate record of genuine business enquiries. You are not required to give us anything beyond what is needed to reply.
We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not add you to any mailing list. We do not sell or share your information with anyone for their own purposes.
Who processes it for us
A small number of service providers process this information on our behalf, under our instructions:
- Netlify
- Hosts this website and receives enquiry form submissions.
- Microsoft
- Provides our email, through which enquiries reach the team.
Some service providers may process or store personal information outside the United Kingdom. Where this occurs, we require appropriate safeguards for international transfers in accordance with applicable UK data-protection law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to deal with your enquiry and maintain an appropriate record of genuine commercial interest in HERU. We review what we hold every two years and delete or anonymise information that is no longer required. In any event, enquiry records will not normally be retained for longer than seven years after our last contact with you.
If you would like your details removed sooner, ask us and we will do it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it
- Restrict how we use your information
- Object to our use of your information where we rely on legitimate interests
Write to info@myheru.com and we will respond. There is no charge.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you raised it with us first so we can put it right.

This website sets no cookies at all, and uses no analytics or tracking. There is more detail on the cookies page.

If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
